Award of SSP-ITT-62467 - Lease or Rental of Temperature Controlled Boxes

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) delivers a wide range of professional, technical and administrative services to NHS Wales organisations, including Health Boards, Trusts and Special Health Authorities. NWSSP also supports primary care providers and other partner organisations across Wales. Within NWSSP, the Supply Chain Logistics and Transport (SCLT) service operates the Health Courier Service (HCS), which provides a national medical logistics service across Wales. This service transports a wide range of critical healthcare items including: · Blood products and medical supplies · Pharmaceuticals and controlled drugs · Nuclear medicine and radioactive isotopes · Mail, medical records and clinical consumables · Pathology and diagnostic samples The HCS currently operates a fleet of approximately 306 vehicles, travelling over four million miles per year to support healthcare delivery across Wales. We are seeking a supplier to provide Temperature Controlled Transport Box Environments (TCUs) via a Short-Term Rental or Long-Term Lease arrangement linked to our existing service model.
