Please note: the venue is being changed - the new location will be confirmed shortly via the registration process.
Mayor Paul Bristow will introduce and attend the first half of the session.
This event is a key milestone in the Bus Franchising Implementation Pathways Review, chaired by Leon Daniels OBE with consultancy support from Steer.
Chaired by Leon Daniels OBE, the session will provide an opportunity for bus operators and community transport providers to contribute their insights and experience. Attendees will be invited to share:
- Perspectives on operating in the CPCA area, including current challenges;
- Experiences from other contracting environments; and
- Examples of best practice from elsewhere.
The workshop will explore both short and long-term improvements for the local bus network, identifying practical actions and lessons learned to inform the ongoing review.
Findings from this session will directly support the independent work determining the future direction of the CPCA’s bus franchising scheme.
