Echo Scans Additional Services

The Echo department is currently working with a short fall of three whole time equivalent (WTE) qualified staff. The department also runs at a deficit to allow other areas to maintain provision such as the Cardiac Cath Labs (emergency on call) and CIU at James Cook and The Friarage. The Supplier will support in the running of standard echocardiography clinics at Approved Organisation's location using the Approved Organisation's equipment, reporting system, and services (administration and referral). Echocardiography services will be delivered across the below sites: • James Cook University Hospital, Marton Rd, Middlesbrough TS4 3BW • Guisborough Primary Care Hospital, Guisborough TS14 6HW • Redcar Primary Care Hospital, W Dyke Rd, Redcar TS10 4NW • Tees Valley Community Diagnostic Centre, Bridge Rd, Stockton-on-Tees TS18 3AA. The contract will be awarded via the Provider Section Regime's (PSR) direct award 'C' process on a two year term, to the incumbent provider Xyla, part of the Acacium Group.
