As a minimum, fire doors and door sets supplied, installed, maintained, repaired, or replaced under the framework shall be supported by appropriate certification and evidence of compliance with BS 8214, BS 476-20:1987, BS 476-22, and BS EN 1634:2014, as applicable to the works being undertaken.

Appointed suppliers will also be required to provide unplanned reactive maintenance and emergency call-out support on a 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year basis, where required. A key requirement of the framework will be the inspection and survey of fire doors across the NHSGGC estate to support ongoing compliance with relevant fire door certification requirements, manufacturer’s instructions, and applicable fire safety legislation and guidance
