HEIW Provision of Enhanced and Advanced Education and Training

HEIW sought to commission a multi-provider framework agreement for the delivery of full master's pathways (180 credits) and standalone modules (various credit values) in enhanced and advanced practice at Level 7 through blended and distance learning routes. The full master's pathway will lead to the award of an Advanced Practitioner Level 7 Master's qualification. Programmes delivered under this lot must align with the Professional Framework for Enhanced, Advanced and Consultant Clinical Practice in Wales (HEIW, 2023) and support learners to develop and extend their practice within appropriate professional and regulatory standards. Additional information: Term of the contract is five years with the option to extend for a further 3 years in three 12-month intervals.

HEIW sought to establish a sole-provider lot for the delivery of an Enhanced Maternity Care module worth 20 credits at Level 7. The module must be delivered through blended and/or distance learning approaches and align with the Professional Framework for Enhanced, Advanced and Consultant Clinical Practice in Wales (HEIW, 2023). The education will enable practitioners to enhance and extend their maternity care practice in accordance with appropriate professional standards and workforce requirements. Additional information: The term of the contract is five years with the option to extend for a further 3 years in three 12-month intervals.
