The products are described as per BS EN 206:2013 + A1:2016 (BS 8500 Parts 1 & 2 - Complementary British Standards to BS EN 206) All constituent materials [e.g. Cement & Aggregates] are manufactured to a harmonised standard and under the Construction Products Regulations are required to be CE marked and have been tested at source in accordance to relevant standards, namely: - • Cement - BS EN 197-1: Cement - Part 1: Composition, specification and conformity criteria for common cements • Aggregates - BS EN 12620 - Aggregates for Concrete • With guidance from BS8500 Part 2

Data Sheets shall be provided for each of the products in the price list. The Data Sheets shall include the requirements for temperatures for storage and installation of the product. Recommended rates of spread shall also be provided. For HAPAS and Non-HAPAS Certified Instant Road Repair Materials, full details of technical performance is required including current aggregate properties, initial type test certificates, cohesion information for bond coats, etc. The use of Tack Coat has been superseded by the use of Bond Coat for all Cumberland Council works and supplies of Tack Coat are no longer required.
