Treatment of Street Sweeping Waste

Lot 1 allows for the Council to deliver the Street Sweeper waste to the treatment site of the service provider using a Council owned roll on roll off vehicle. The Council will award the contract to the most advantageous tender considering the overall annual cost across all three sites. There is an option under Lot 1 to include a variant bid for the Street Sweeper waste to be collected by the bidder. Any variant bid submitted under Lot 1 will be evaluated alongside the standard Lot 1 submission, and the option that provides the lowest overall annual cost will be selected.

Lot 2 allows for direct delivery of the Street Sweeper waste by the mechanical sweeper vehicle to the treatment site of the service provider. The Council will calculate the distance from the Old Welton Site (BA3 2AA) to the bidder's location for evaluation purposes. This reference location is used solely to ensure a fair and consistent comparison between tenders, acknowledging that actual deliveries are likely to originate from multiple locations throughout the contract duration.
