What this lot covers

The objective of this Procurement Process is to secure a single contract arrangement for Lightning Protection Supply and Inspection Services. This includes the assessment, design, installation, inspection, remediation and certification of systems intended to protect structures and electrical assets from lightning strike and transient overvoltage damage across Yorkshire Water's estate. The purpose of this contract is to maintain the reliability and compliance of Lightning Protection Systems, ensuring it continues to safeguard assets and personnel from damage and supports safe, continuous operations. Risk Assessments must be completed in line with BSEN 62305 (Edition 3:2024). Statutory Inspections must be completed every 11 months, to allow Lightning Protection to be tested in all conditions over the life of the contract. This is then followed by an eight-month window for non-urgent remedial works.
