(Maintenance of) Leica equipment

This is a renewal of the maintenance contract for Leica diagnostic equipment located at Singleton Hospital, within Swansea Bay University Health Board. This highly specialised equipment, supplied by Leica Microsystems Ltd, is essential to supporting cancer diagnostic pathways by ensuring the accurate analysis of clinical material. The contract provides Gold, Silver, and Bronze levels of maintenance cover, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM), all call-outs and repair costs, as well as access to OEM parts and expert technical support to maintain service continuity. As the original equipment manufacturer, Leica Microsystems Ltd is the sole provider capable of delivering the specialist maintenance and support required to ensure optimal equipment performance, safeguard diagnostic integrity, and minimise the risk of service disruption within this critical department.
