Supply of Shoe Gear and Beams for S Stock, London Underground Rolling Stock

This Contract Details Notice is issued in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023 for the supply of Shoe Gear and Beams for S Stock (Metropolitan, District, Circle and Hammersmith & City Lines) for London Underground Rolling Stock. Shoe Gear and Beams are used to support the Fleet Maintenance programme of work. Spend is not committed and associated consumables will be according to requirement. The contract is awarded to Schunk Carbon Technology Limited who are the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for the Shoe Gear and Beams. Due to the bespoke nature of the S Stock Shoe Gear and Beams and the technical dependency, only Schunk Carbon Technology Limited UK can ensure full compatibility and continuity of service. Total contract amount is circa £11,166,440
